Did you know you can do this in autocad?

There's more to drawing a row of trees than you might think. With measure and divide AutoCAD provides two native commands that place a row of blocks on a selected linear entity. These commands however are still fairly limited. For starters they draw a row of blocks only on one linear entity at a time. That's a pity because you can create interesting effects when applying such a command to multiple linear entities. An even greater pity is the limited options you have in positioning the blocks. Blocks should be on the exact position you want them to be. In this strategy 8 different configurations on multiple linear entities are created with only 3 commands. And those aren't even all possible options...
