Hatch Random

Hatching entities is very helpful to add a character to a specific area in your drawing. With 'Hatch Random' you can create a more vivid drawing. You can select closed polylines, splines, ellipses and circles. Those are the entities that will be hatched. When you confirm the selection you have to make another selection of entities. This time you can select any entity you want. By selecting those entities you select layers. When you confirm the selection the command will start to hatch the entities. Every entity will be hatched with a solid hatch on a layer randomly picked by the command from the selection you made. Although the layer is picked randomly you can influence the result. If you select four entities on layers 'hatch-a', 'hatch-b', 'hatch-c' and 'hatch-d' about a quarter of the new hatches will be on one of those layers. If you select four entities on layers 'hatch-a', 'hatch-b', 'hatch-c' and 'hatch-c' about half of the new hatches will be on layer 'hatch-c'. So besides layers you also define a ratio.
